Don Donnelly's D Spur Ranch and Riding Stables has welcomed the public since 1982 on a working longhorn cattle ranch in the foothills of the Superstition Mountains in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Its Sonoran Desert trail rides last from one hour to a half day, with the shorter rides suited to beginners and children 7 and up, while younger kids can take lead-line rides in an arena.
