Spider Lake Ranch Riding Stable, run by Cheryl and Mike Riley, is a family-owned stable in the Spider Lake area, 14 miles east of Hayward, Wisconsin. Its guides lead forest trail rides through 180 acres of Northwoods trails, with horses for all abilities assigned by size and skill after a riding demonstration. Riders need to be 8 or older and at least 50 inches tall, and everyone wears a helmet.
