K-Diamond-K is a 1,600-acre working guest ranch near Republic, north of Spokane in Eastern Washington, founded as a cattle ranch and vet clinic in 1961. Guests stay in the main lodge with meals included and get a riding lesson on arrival before heading out on the Meadow Ride, an outing of just over an hour along the Sanpoil River. The herd of about 40 horses suits beginners and experienced riders alike.
