Middleton Place Equestrian Center
Middleton Place Equestrian Center leads guided, narrated trail rides of about one hour through the historic Plantation District along the Ashley River, about 15 miles from downtown Charleston. Riders walk wooded paths beside Middleton Place Plantation and around the South Rice Pond while the guide covers plantation history and the region's rice culture. No experience is needed, and riders must be at least 8 years old.
