Newport Equestrian Academy
Newport Equestrian Academy is a riding academy in Middletown, Rhode Island, open since 1987. Its guided two-hour trail ride passes two beaches on the way to a wildlife preservation; no riding experience is needed, since instruction comes before departure, and children from seven may ride alone with an adult present. A summer day camp welcomes riders aged 6 and up, from first-timers to advanced.
