Western Trails
Western Trails Riding Stable has offered trail rides in the Deep Creek Lake area of Oakland, Maryland, since 1970 and is now run by third-generation owner Gene. Its four-mile, one-hour ride crosses open fields and wooded mountainside past an old apple orchard, with views of Deep Creek Lake. The farm is open year-round to all ages and experience levels and also offers lessons, hayrides and hand-led pony rides.
