Gold Lake Stables is a seasonal stable run by Reid Horse & Cattle Co. in the Lakes Basin Recreation Area off Gold Lake Highway, in Plumas County, California. Wranglers lead rides from the 1.5-hour Indian Springs Trail to the 4.5-hour High Sierra Trail, which follows the PCT for a stretch, plus an all-day Back Country Loop for experienced riders. Spot and deluxe all-expense pack trips leave from its Gold Lake Pack Station.
