Denali Horseback Tours
Denali Horseback Tours is a small, locally owned outfitter based in Healy, Alaska, a few minutes from the Denali National Park entrance. Groups of up to four ride at a walk through taiga and tundra on one-hour, two-hour and roughly four-hour half-day tours, the shortest suited to novices and children from age 9. In winter, when there is enough snow, a Norwegian Fjord gelding pulls guests in a one-horse open sleigh.
