Half Moon Lake Lodge is a lakeside resort with 12 log cabins in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, nine miles from Pinedale, Wyoming. Its wranglers lead two-hour lake trail rides suited to beginners, a Fayette Lake ride with a fire-cooked lunch, a four-day Bridger-Teton Wilderness trip and pack trips. Trail riders must be 8 or older, while younger children can take pony rides or one-on-one lessons.
