Canyon Trails Ranch is a family-owned ranch in McElmo Canyon near Cortez, Colorado, established in 1980 and offering horse rides since 1995. A wrangler leads small groups to Ancestral Puebloan sites on a beginner-friendly half-day Kiva Ride or on half- and full-day rides into Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, for riders aged 8 and up. Horse/RV sites, glamping wagons and tent sites are also available.
