Budges Wilderness Lodge
Budge's Wilderness Lodge, founded in 1928, offers historic log cabins at the end of a forest road in the Gypsum, Colorado area, bordered on three sides by the Flat Tops Wilderness. From late June to the first weekend in October, wranglers lead full-day rides that require no experience and are recommended from age 12. Guests can ride with pack horses and mules to canvas-tent camps by rivers or alpine lakes.
