Esperanza Riding Company leads trail rides on Paso Fino horses at historic Eyreville Plantation in Cape Charles, on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Rides wind past working farm fields, through pine woods and along Cherrystone Creek, with 1.5-hour group loops for up to eight riders, longer private rides, and short hand-led pony rides for younger children. Beginners are welcome on the trail rides, which require riders to be at least 8.
