Rancho Cortez
Rancho Cortez is a dude ranch and fitness retreat near Bandera, Texas, northwest of San Antonio in the Hill Country. Its one-hour trail rides leave daily at a leisurely walk for riders 6 and older, and guests can also book half- or full-day ranch visits or stays of two to six nights. Week-long summer camps in June and July teach barrel racing and rodeo events to kids aged 8 to 18.
